August Fun

No that is not a typo - it should say August. I am once again a delinquent blogger. I am even worse with downloading my photos... may need to take an entire day off to get caught up on THAT project. But enough about me and more on Noah. Our little guy had some fun outings that I want to make sure get documented.

Great Aunt Sue and Uncle George visited from South Carolina. During their visit, they were nice enough to invite us out for a nice dinner with Grandma Diane, Grandpa Karl and cousins Vanessa, Darren and Owen. We had a really great time and the boys behaved like angels. Seriously, we actually had people stop at our table to say how impressed they were with the kids behavior. Noah ate like a champ finishing off an ENTIRE kids portion of mac n' cheese. The boy loves his cheese. Can't figure out why he is still so skinny... Anyway, we tried to snap a few shots of the kiddies before turning in for the evening, but they were really not into the camera once we were in the parking lot.

We also had a night out at our friends, the Hannas. They live on a beautiful golf course with lots of space to play! The big joke of the night was that Noah was the only little boy there ... and he was surrounded by SIX little girls. Most of the comments were too inappropriate to post here... but needless to say we will see how the kids interact 15 years from now. Somehow, I didn't get a pic of all of the kids, but here is a cute one of Noah and Neil.

Last but not least, Neil spent some time in Asia which gave us the break we needed to "redecorate" a bit. I always say that I am going to get so many things accomplished when Neil is away for business, but it never seems to happen. Well, not this time! Thanks to Noah's keen eye for decor :) and Grandma Kane's generosity with her time - we hired a painter, purchased new bedding for the guest room, new curtains and some furniture. Here is a pic of Noah enjoying the new chair he suggested we buy :)
